Plugging along on Montage

Page 5 of the Hannah Lynn Montage is done but still a looooooooong way to go. It's harder to get regular progress pictures of this one since I dislike undoing the q-snaps and so only get the whole thing spread out when I have no choice because I've run out of working room!

I'm sorry to leave you another post but I have a question:
My question is: how do you stitch? Which way do you work? I know you park as I do to.., but you seem to have some thread on the bottom- which I understand, but then you work how? up and down, row by row or side to side row by row?

Thanks for the lovely comments! I work left to right in 10x30 blocks. I park my threads to the right unless the symbol isn't in the next 10x30 block in which case I will park at the bottom if I can.
