


I'm not quite sure how it happened since it's a solid piece of wood, but I suspect my evil cat is somehow to blame. Look at him over there just waiting to pounce! I shudder to think what he was doing to my stitching to cause the clamp to split like that. Perhaps he was using it as a trampoline (again)? He's just lucky he's so cute.

I'm going to try to glue it and fortunately I do have another stand. I really dislike it, but anything is better than not being able to stitch while I wait for a replacement. Still, what a horrible thing to happen on my last day of winter break!
