Tower of Stony Wood - FINISHED!!!
Shortly after my last post I decided that The Tower of Stony Wood was the one thing I definitely wanted to get finished before I die so I've been working exclusively on it since then and yesterday I finally finished it!  And, no, I'm not on my deathbed or anything, but I'm on the downside of my life now and have come to the realization that there is no way I'm ever going to manage to finish everything I have started.

Anyway, here it is in all it's glory!

Wow. It looks so good. I'm also at the stage were I so need to stop buying more charts and stitch the ones I ready want to do but I know it's not going to happen I'm in my 30s so have time but I have so many I want to stitch. so good luck trying to get all your WIP's done. Well done on your finish.

It's beautiful and quite an accomplishment! I just love the detail.

This is truly stunning and such an accomplishment! I hope to finish one HAED in my lifetime and I am very young ( I think we all fear SABLE, Stash Acquired Beyond Life expectancy, so do not despair!) I read a blog post once about a 90 year old woman who recently found HAED and finished her first one, where she stated "I want to die with a needle in my hand!" My hero.

Sorry, I had to ask... which one are you doing next?

Beautiful!!!! What is the downside of life? Everytime I move to another decade I think it will be the best 10 years! During this ten years I am letting my children move on and learning to live on my own. I am doing things I love to do and dont have all of the responsibilities of a younger parent. I love large projects and will keep working on them.
