And the rest of them
Another picture intensive post, so here goes.
Days of Advent Sampler. I'm using Hand Dyed Fibers for this one and neglected to purchase all the floss I needed for it. Needless to say, I ran into serious dye-lot issues -- probably because Vikki redid her whole line and I was too late when I tried to grab up some of the old stuff during her sell-off sale. Anyway, some of the colors I was using are now completely different and I had to re-convert those. Fortunately, the differences in color are subtle and the way the design is set up I can get away with that so the only thing I need to frog at this point is the lettering in the Adam and Eve block.

Lamenting the incapacitation of my stitching stand
Oh woe is me. The clamp on my stitching stand broke in half.I'm not quite sure how it happened since it's a solid piece of wood, but I suspect my evil cat is somehow to blame. Look at him over there just waiting to pounce! I shudder to think what he was doing to my stitching to cause the clamp to split like that. Perhaps he was using it as a trampoline (again)? He's just lucky he's so cute.
I'm going to try to glue it and fortunately I do have another stand. I really dislike it, but anything is better than not being able to stitch while I wait for a replacement. Still, what a horrible thing to happen on my last day of winter break!
