I really enjoy working on this one, even the background!
And this completes one round of my new rotation. On to the next round starting with Babysitting.
I have designated this one as a "Favorite" in my rotation. This means it will come up every third rotation which should be approximately every six months. Although, I have to admit I'm not strictly sticking to the four day rule and find myself setting a goal instead. For example, I worked on Babysitting for five days because I wanted to get to the end of the row.
This is one of the projects I worked on while I was in my little slump, so there's been quite a bit of progress! Confetti hell, but the results are well worth it.
Plus I was feeling a bit under the weather for a while...
Also, my daughter has gotten involved in volunteering at our local zoo and so I've been spending some time in Salisbury....
Plus she got a part in the school play and I've been waiting at the school after work to pick her up...
And there was a hurricane... which was scary on Friday when it looked like it was going to make land fall in Delaware (smack-dab on Long Neck, where I used to live, no less). Fortunately we no longer live near the coast so the storm surge didn't affect us, my property drains fairly well so I don't have to worry so much about flooding due to rain, and the trees probably block a lot of the wind. Once again, we were very, very lucky to have escaped Mother Nature's wrath.
So I have an update on just one of the projects I worked on during this period: Song of the Dead. Hopefully I will get to the rest as the week goes on.
